This is the first Canon I have purchased, and I could not be happier! It is compact but at the same time feels solid because of its anodized aluminum body. The simple interface makes the camera easy to use. The LCD monitor is of acceptable size (2.5”) and appears bright when you want to preview your pictures or change settings. Multiple shooting modes are available, which is excellent for someone who shoots for a variety of purposes.
